Japanese volcanic clay calibrated from 3 to 6 mm. Ibaraki Hard Quality - Very resistant.
Specifies to be used in Bonsai, pure or in soil mixtures, has P.H. neutral, is sterilized and free of seeds and weeds.
It has low colligative capacity and perpetuates granulometry.
It guarantees the ideal drainage and retention of water and nutrients indicated for the cultivation of bonsai.
Also widely used in aquariums as soil for "planted aquariums".

Akadama – Japanese volcanic clay (mineral), has good granulometry, retention capacity and "exchange" of nutrients (Clay-Humic complex), has good drainage of excess water, due to its physical characteristics it does not bind (does not make clay) which guarantees these characteristics for a long period.
Has P.H. neutral, is sterilized and free of seeds and weeds. In Japan they use it as a “universal mix” for all leafy species, in Portugal, if used pure, it can make watering difficult because it dries out a lot in summer and drains poorly in winter (mainly after the 2nd year after transplanting).
