Tillandsia xerographica is a beautiful and relatively large species within the various Tillandsia species. It is also called the 'Queen of Air Plants'.

The gray/silver colored leaves that grow from the heart to the tail make it a really unique and decorative plant to own and use.

Like Tillandsia Harissii, Xerographica is covered by the CITES certificate. This means that the species is protected in Central America and therefore only a limited amount of these plants can be imported.

Tillandsia xerographica can easily be used in wedding bouquets, wreaths and table decor, for example.

The leaves of this plant can also be used separately for decoration, both dried and natural.

During the flowering stage of this plant, a large red and green flower grows from the heart.

However, Tillandsia Xerographica is shipped before this stage from farms in Central America to Holland, where the cultivation process continues in the Corsa nursery in De Lier.

Corsa Plant supplies beautiful pieces of Tillandsia xerographica, available in five different sizes, as also shown in the image.

Tillandsia xerographica is one of the few species of Tillandsia that can handle sunlight, which means that it can also be used perfectly for outdoor decorations, taking care, in our climate, not to expose them to direct sun in the hours of greater insolation.

It should also be borne in mind that all aerials must always be protected from frost.

It is recommended to spray these once or twice a week during the hottest days, and once every two weeks during the coldest days, with water or preferably with ourAir Plants care spray.
